Spotted

.... at last year's big awards. I'm not sure if I look drunk, confused or just tired. I seem to remember rocking up to the ceremony mid way through a project from hell and after a late night bender.... not a good look; but a great night and it's always nice to win awards etc. This one for the dareschool film I directed about 18months ago on zero budget and and no rehearsal. To be honest I think the work is shit, I don't like it and I remember hating the script at the time; but it is a sort of digital in-joke. Funny can win awards and this is testament to the fact. Creds have to go to Electric Pic and the masterful Mike Connolly who did the camera, DOP and visual effects on the spot.

Age of Stupid: Climage Change alert.

Age of Stupid - a new film tackling climate change, and it comes on high recommendation. I'm usually Devils advocate on the issue; while at the same time firm in the feeling that we are fucking up something that doesnt' belong to us. I love Pete Postlethwaite, and new interpretations of the documentary format.
