Augmented Reality is the New Friday
So, at long last Dare's first Augmented Reality project is up and running. The BMW team have produced this neat little application that works with your webcam and lets you paint your desktop with magic invisible paint. Great stuff!
My only involvement really was with helping to make the little promo movie that you can now find up on youtube. It's another low budget recession busting production, and I like it a lot. Skillfully edited together by Kooch; there is a tight integration with the look/ feel of the TV ad.
Not bad for an afternoons work; it was quite possibly the most post modern shoot that I've been involved in; an HD Cam pointing at a screen taking a feed from a DV cam acting as a webcam... Confused? you will be!
