Wyld Stallyons do Lingerie

Those crazy guys, Wyld Stallyons have done some neat work here for Lascivious: The Doll. This is a great example of a small company, working on a what I imagine to be a very modest budget, producing class A, professional looking work. The idea however leaves a few things to be desired. It's been done before, but then, these are pop promo dudes and hence they've essentially made a pop promo as a piece of advertising. Style over substance, but is that really a bad thing? It's sexy and dark... and I like sexy and dark... oh and fembots.



Below I've posted their behind the scenes doc. It shows the modest array of off-the-shelf hardware and software that they've used effectively to create a real cinematic look for this piece. Another example of getting the right balance between creative minds on the ideas front, and a creatively led production team to bring the thing to life. Maybe if they'd spend a bit more time thinking about the idea it would have made something more compelling beyond the fist viewing. Nice going guys....got any jobs going? haha
